Terms of Service
FabriDock is sold by Copper City Designs LLC. Effective 2026-10-19. Last updated 2026-11-04.
These terms are the agreement between you and Copper City Designs LLC (“we”) for using FabriDock. By creating an account you agree to them.
Free trial
A new account gets 14 days of free access to FabriDock, with no card needed. The trial starts after you confirm your email address and set up your shop. When the trial ends without a purchase, nothing is charged and nothing you made is taken away: the account moves to the free plan, which keeps everything you created and lets you go on using FabriDock within limits (a set number of machines, products and other records in each edition, a set number of orders and expenses a month, and some tools only in paid editions). We may change the free plan's limits; a change never deletes anything you already have. Each email address gets one free trial.
Unused accounts
An account that has not been used for 60 days, and has never been paid for, is deleted along with everything in it. We email you 7 days before, and signing in at any point before then keeps your account. Accounts that have been paid for are never deleted this way.
What you are buying
FabriDock is sold for one price. A one-time payment of $39 (plus tax, worked out from your billing address at checkout) gives your business lifetime access to every edition, one per kind of machine (3D Printing, Laser Engraving and CNC), including future updates, plus the parts every edition shares, such as orders, expenses and reports. “Lifetime” means for as long as we operate FabriDock. There is no subscription. We may offer extra paid features in future; they would be optional and would not take away anything your purchase already includes.
All three editions are available straight away.
If you bought a single edition, the All three bundle or an upgrade before FabriDock moved to one price on 27 October 2026, your purchase keeps the terms it was sold on.
FabriDock is sold only in the countries offered at checkout. A payment whose billing address is in another country is refunded automatically and does not include a licence.
Who owns FabriDock
FabriDock — the software, its design, text and graphics, and the FabriDock name and logo — belongs to Copper City Designs LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Buying gives your business a licence to use it, not ownership of it. Please do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer it, or use the name or logo as if it were yours. What you put into FabriDock stays yours, as the next sections say.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give us a real email address, because it is how you reset your password and how we reach you.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
Your data is yours
Everything you enter or upload stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run FabriDock for you. How we handle it is in the Privacy Policy, which also explains how we measure visits to our website (without advertising cookies or third-party trackers) and how to opt out.
Only upload files you have the right to use. If you upload a model or photo that belongs to someone else, that is between you and them.
If you turn on a quote request form, the people who use it are your customers: you are responsible for answering them and for handling the details they send you lawfully. We store and deliver their requests for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.
The numbers are estimates
FabriDock works out costs, prices, profit and filament use from the figures you give it. Those results are only as good as those figures, and some (such as material estimated from a 3D model) are approximations and are labelled as such. Pricing and business decisions are yours to make. We are not responsible for what you charge or what you earn.
Fair use
Do not use FabriDock to:
- try to reach anyone else's account or data;
- overload, attack or reverse engineer the service;
- resell or share access to your account outside your own business;
- store anything illegal.
Each account includes a storage allowance for uploaded files, shown in Settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep FabriDock running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or free of mistakes. It is provided “as is”. If we ever stop operating FabriDock, we will give you reasonable notice first.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything to do with FabriDock is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.
Refunds
See the Refund Policy.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use FabriDock after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
